Ingredients (Yield: 1 serving)
1/2 cup of tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce
1 slice of bread, toasted
Step 1: Place your tomato sauce in your pot or pan on medium-low heat and heat until bubbly.
Step 2: Crack your egg into the sauce. Place the lid on the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Step 3: You'll know when your egg is done when you can shake the pan and the egg turns white on top. You can cook the egg so that it is still fairly "jiggly", or you can cook until it is nearly solid.
Step 3.5: At some point in this process, you should have time to toast and butter a piece of bread.
Step 4: Scoop your egg and as much of the sauce as you want out and serve it on your toast.
